Ashley is a Visual Artist and Art Educator living in Houston, Texas. She currently works as a full-time Painter and as an adjunct Virtual Studio Art Instructor for Tzohar Seminary for Chassidus and the Arts. Ashley is a recent former Teacher, who worked as an Art Educator in K-12 education for 5 life-changing years with over 1000 unforgettable students. She worked under both the public and private sectors, in urban and rural settings, with incredibly diverse populations, and for every single grade K-12. She has obtained her M.F.A. and M.A. degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and 2014, and her Bachelors’ of Science in Art Education from California University of Pennsylvania in 2012. Since 2013, her work has been exhibited in the Pittsburgh and Houston areas, as well as in New York City galleries, such as Viridian Artists and Site: Brooklyn. One of her proudest moments as a Teacher was with her former students in Pittsburgh. They designed and created a mural gift for the Tree of Life synagogue, which sparked a neighborhood beautification campaign and national art youth project, #HeartsTogether: The Art of Rebuilding. As an Artist, Ashley's specific curiosities extend towards all components of Nature and life's brief moments.
