COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will explore an assortment of Halachic areas that are practical in the life of a Jewish girl and woman. The class will provide the Halachic issue theological and historical background, relevance in our current day, and insight as illuminated through Chassidic thought.

 

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Overall knowledge of specific Halachic issues

• Knowledge of what is a Halachic question and the right things to ask

• Comfort in Jewish practice

• Recognition of the impact made on oneself and surroundings through proper actions
